Tanya Dyer, COTA/L

Thinker, Creator, Game-changer

It was only a handful of years ago that I learned what occupational therapy was. What drew me in? Creativity, empathy, and variety. The idea that I could go to work (potentially a different place every day) and utilize my knack for fixing things to improve the life of another human being was astonishing. What?! Sign me up!!

I had made a career out of going to school, taking classes and learning new skills. It all seemed like aimless wandering (and let’s be honest, some was). Yet, all the pieces fell into place to complete this new path for me.  Science, art, nature, spirituality, and love. These are the things I hold fast to. These are the basis of Occupational Therapy, and this is my future. I can't wait to get started!
